Air treatment device for the active humidification of the air in homes and areas, patented and certified system suited to the installation or for retrofitting in air conditioning systems. The compact HygroBox works according to the natural evaporation principle and ensures a constant room humidity. The adjustment range is from 40% to 60% re. humidity. The heating of air to apply the evaporation energy takes place over an integrated water heater battery. The evaporator tub, in which a rotor fitted with lamellas immerges, is supplied via the drinking water network. The level is regulated automatically. The formation of germs and bacteria in the unit is prevented through a continuous and automatically monitored UVC disinfection as well as an effectively by time-controlled exchange of water. A reverse osmosis unit in the water line is built-in to protect the unit against limescale.
