Built-in electric preheating coil to protect the heat exchanger from freezing at very low outdoor air temperatures. If higher comfort temperatures are required, an electric or hot-water reheating coil can be optionally installed in the unit housing. Housing: Made of aluzinc sheet metal, insulated with 50 mm mineral wool for optimum thermal and sound insulation. Externally coated on all sides with a corrosion-resistant finish, RAL 7047, corrosion class C4; internally galvanised. Casing classes in accordance with DIN EN 1886: T2/TB2/D2. Inspection hatches on the underside of the unit for easy access and optimal cleaning and maintenance. Additional inspection hatch on the side for filter maintenance. 2 condensate connections DN 17.5 mm: 1 x exhaust air side, 1 x supply air side. Stainless steel condensate pan with integrated slope. Automatic bypass damper for free cooling can be activated. Temperature sensors for outdoor air, supply air, exhaust air and in the heat exchanger for comprehensive monitoring of operating conditions. Eurovent-certified aluminium cross-counterflow heat exchanger with high thermal efficiency according to EN 308 of up to 90%. The heat exchanger features high internal tightness and is therefore particularly suitable for applications where there is a risk of odour transfer. Fans: 2 direct-drive EC motors, class IE4 with very low SFP values, dynamically balanced and mounted in the unit with vibration damping. Continuously variable control via 0–10 V signal. Plug connections on all electrical components to simplify maintenance work. Filters: Two large-area, pressure-loss-optimised cassette filters are fitted as standard (outdoor air ePM1 55% (F7) and exhaust air ePM10 50% (M5)). The use of filters of filter class ePM1 80% (F9) for supply air and ePM1 55% (F7) for extract air is available as an option. Filter monitoring is carried out by means of dynamic, volume flow-dependent pressure monitoring. Control: The ventilation unit is delivered ready for operation with a versatile control system. The control system is installed in a connection box on the side of the unit for easy maintenance, factory-wired and function-tested. A choice of 2 control elements (ECO and Touch) is available (required accessories). Control functions: Ventilation modes: Constant volume (CAV), constant pressure (VAV) (accessories required), constant speed (CRPM) in % or via weekly programme. Automatic ventilation operation/Ventilation-On-Demand (VOD) via humidity, CO₂ or VOC sensors. Up to 18 sensors can be connected per ventilation unit. Free cooling, active cooling via cooling coils (chilled water or DX). Temperature control, e.g. constant supply air, outdoor temperature-controlled supply air, room-supply-air cascade, etc. possible. Digital inputs for fire alarm and external switch (On/Off). Digital output for collective fault signal. External fan control via two analogue 0–10 V inputs (supply and extract air fans separately). Connection to the BMS via BACnet IP or Modbus TCP possible. Commissioning wizard for quick and easy commissioning of the unit and the appropriate accessories.
